Nepal Engineering College – Center for
Postgraduate Studies (nec-CPS) warmly welcomed the new cohort of postgraduate
students for the March 2025 Intake through a well-organized Welcome
and Orientation Program held on 29th Chaitra 2081. The program was
designed to introduce students of the Construction Management (CM),
Transportation Engineering & Management (TEAM), Integrated Water Resources
Management (iWRM), and Natural Resources Management (NRM) programs to
academic life, faculty, and the enriching journey ahead.
The program commenced with a welcome speech
by Vice-Principal Assoc. Prof. Mohan Dhoja K.C., who shared insights into
the background, legacy, and vision of Nepal Engineering College. He highlighted
the college’s long-standing commitment to quality education, interdisciplinary
learning, and research excellence.

Following the welcome, Acting Director of
nec-CPS, Assoc. Prof. Robert Dongol, delivered a detailed presentation
on the Master’s programs, covering the curriculum structure, academic
policies, faculty expertise, research opportunities, and student support
systems. The session was highly informative and gave students a clear
understanding of their academic pathways and expectations.
The program also featured introductions to the
faculty team, an outline of student responsibilities, and highlights of
extracurricular opportunities at nec-CPS. The event concluded with an
open-floor Q&A session, allowing students to interact directly with
faculty members and clarify any queries.
This Orientation Program not only marked the
official beginning of the academic journey for the March 2025 batch but also
fostered a welcoming and inclusive environment, setting a positive tone for the
years ahead.
Nepal Engineering College is proud to welcome
these future professionals and change-makers and looks forward to supporting
their academic and personal growth.
