                Associate Professor Robert Dongol, Director of nec CPS delivered a luncheon talk program to the students of William and Mary College in Williamsburg, Virginia, USA on October 1, 2025.  During his talk, he highlighted the importance of traditional stone spouts (hitis) - a living heritage of Kathmandu Valley. He showcased the hiti structures are the remarkable testament to the ingenuity of our ancestors who, without modern engineering, utilized their knowledge of groundwater systems to channel water into the valley from distant sources to meet the water demand.
The talk program was attended by 25 undergraduate students and faculties of the college.
