Professor Dr. Thusitha Chandani Shahi, faculty of
Transportation Engineering and Management Program at nec CPS participated in
the prestigious IRF World Congress 2024 held from October
15-18, 2024, in Istanbul, Turkey.
Embracing the theme “Connecting to
Empower Mobility: Roads as Enablers of a Sustainable Future for All,” the
congress served as a platform for global leaders, industry experts, academia,
and diverse public and private stakeholders to engage in insightful discussions
and collaborative efforts, addressing pivotal issues and exploring innovations
within the road and mobility sectors.
As part of the event, Prof. Dr. Thusitha Chandani
Shahi delivered a paper presentation titled "Road User Perception
of Bridge Sites: Case Study of Nepal".
The congress provided an excellent platform to
share research, network with global experts, and contribute to the field of
road safety and transportation infrastructure.
